2. Overview

We process personal data only as far as necessary to operate this website and to answer your enquiries. This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services and loads fonts only from our own server.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany, under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. When you visit, technically necessary data is processed (IP address, date and time, page requested, referrer, browser and operating system) to provide the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log data is deleted or anonymised by the host after a short period.

4. Contact form, email and phone

If you contact us, we process your details (name, email address, optionally company and phone number, your message) to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). Form data is sent to us by email and not stored in a database on the web server. To prevent abuse, your IP address is stored briefly in hashed form and deleted after two hours at the latest. We delete your enquiry once it has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

5. YouTube videos (two-click solution)

In the “AI Radar” section we show videos from official channels published on YouTube, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. No connection to YouTube is made before you click – preview images are loaded via our own server. Only when you click “Load video” is the video embedded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Data such as your IP address is then transferred to Google, possibly also to the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG).

If you select “Always load YouTube videos”, this choice is stored only locally in your browser (local storage, key “yt-consent”). You can withdraw consent at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. More: Google privacy policy.

6. Cookies and consent

This website sets no cookies for advertising, analytics or tracking. On your first visit, a notice asks whether external media (YouTube videos) may be loaded. Your choice is stored only locally in your browser (local storage, keys “noel-consent” and “yt-consent”) so the notice does not reappear on every visit (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.

7. Economic data and news

Figures (Eurostat, European Central Bank), headlines (RSS feeds of the sources named) and video lists are retrieved and cached exclusively by our server. None of your data is transmitted to these providers. Clicking a link takes you to the provider’s site, where its privacy policy applies.

8. Encryption

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption, recognisable by “https://” in the address bar.

9. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. Contact info@noel.gmbh.
